There are many influences to the life of Benediction Farm. It is a coming together and fruition from long years lived on three continents.
Anglicanism
Anglicanism is a global and historic Christian tradition comprised of over 77 million people, rooted in the ancient beliefs and practices of the church. Anglicans understand the importance of tradition while recognizing the final authority of God’s word over all matters of faith and practice.
Anglicans share a commitment to Bible-centered preaching and teaching, sacramental worship, a life of prayer, and a structure that honors our connections to other Christians around the world and throughout history.
Monasticism
Wade and Chryse Bradshaw are both interested in living before God under a Rule of Life. They appreciate the mission and relentless commitment to prayer of the Society of St. John the Evangelist, an order of Episcopal monks in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
O God of unchangeable power and eternal light: look favourably on Your whole Church, that wonderful and sacred mystery; by the effectual working of Your providence, carry out in tranquility the plan of salvation; let the whole world see and know that things which were cast down are being raised up, and things which had grown old are being made new, and that all things are being brought to perfection by Him through whom all things were made, Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
